Role Summary

iconectiv was recently awarded the STI-PA ‘trust anchor’ contract in the US.  We were also recently announced as one of only two ‘Verification authorities’ by the GSMA.  We believe that Trusted Communications is a priority for our Service Provider customers, for their subscribers, for enterprises and industry/regulatory bodies alike.  We are seeking a key hire to lead our business development in the US.  
Reporting to the SVP Global Sales, the role of the VP/Director of Business Development is to identify and develop future revenue streams for ‘Trusted Communications’ with existing customers, new named accounts, telecom regulators, technology and industry partnerships that will drive iconectiv’s international market development. 
Internally, you will drive collaboration and alignment with product, engineering, sales, marketing and Executive Management to execute upon iconectiv’s ‘Growth Initiative’ plans.

This is a key position in a high growth area demanding a dynamic, strategic and entrepreneurial business mindset enabling the generation of new revenue streams for iconectiv, with a strong focus on opportunities resulting from technology innovation.
You will be experienced in go to market strategies, building and managing relationships, with a background of successfully building and closing new business in a complex, multi stakeholder environment, working with a high degree of autonomy. 

Skills/Experience
•15+ years’ experience in Sales/Business development.  
•Good understanding of industry topics such as STIR-SHAKEN, RCS, Messaging.
•Be able to demonstrate a successful history of high value complex negotiation experience with US service providers
•15+ years’ experience in a technology sales environment (software products and technology services)
•Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
•Results driven, team player with strong sense of responsibility.
•Ability to work with a minimum level of supervision.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
•Business, marketing, telecommunications or equivalent degree required (MBA preferred)

Accountabilities
•Own qualification and development of new business opportunities, working to develop high-value customer solutions. 
•Engage with iconectiv’s product and engineering teams to translate insights into test cases or proof of concept to bring to market
•Identify opportunities with technology partners to strengthen iconectiv’s innovation and revenue streams in the market.
•You will be instrumental in defining the go to market programs as well as leading cross-functional teams to drive new business wins.

Key Deliverables
•Support delivery of financial and strategic objectives for Trusted Communications
•Enable future revenue growth managing responsibility for market and business development
•Support the definition and creation for a focused set of priorities and product/solution propositions
•Provide insight regarding new products and possible acquisition targets
