Reclaiming Trust in Caribbean Communications: Regional Strategies to Mitigate Robocalls and Messaging Fraud

The Caribbean region faces rising threats from robocalls and messaging fraud, which undermine public trust and the effectiveness of communications. In this session, Bob Grant, Director of Product Management at iconectiv, will explore how CTU member states and regional operators are tackling these threats with evolving policy frameworks, regional coordination, and technology adoption. He will highlight industry best practices such as Do-Not-Originate lists, traceback cooperation, call analytics, and caller identity validation, as well as how iconectiv’s global experience in trusted communications can complement Caribbean-led solutions.
