In 2019, Americans received more than 77 billion robocalls. Other countries are also feeling an increase in “spam” robocalls, resulting in significant financial loss. iconectiv will discuss trends in robocalling and spoofing and explain the actions global regulators are taking to mitigate fraud associated with illegal robocalls. The session also highlights how STIR/SHAKEN, rolling out in the U.S., will impact global service providers.  In addition to voice verification, texting changed the way we communicate.
