Illegal robocalls, NFV implementation and telecom fraud take center stage for iconectiv at MWC Los Angeles

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – October 17, 2019 – While future 5G service plans and deployment updates can be expected to capture headlines at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Los Angeles (October 22-24), iconectiv, a trusted, neutral provider of trusted communications platforms and solutions, will be drawing attention back to some of the key challenges facing service providers and their customers today.

In particular, iconectiv will concentrate on solutions that can help speed the introduction of virtual network functions, protect service provider revenues from fraud, enable trusted communications to support B2C engagement and messaging, and combat illegal robocalling.

“We are on the frontline of a movement to restore trust in communications,” said Richard Jacowleff, CEO, iconectiv. “5G is critical to the future of the industry and right now the collective focus on the industry is 5G deployment and enablement, which is dependent on trusted, scalable and efficient platforms that will support the new use cases and growth that 5G promises.”

As the industry looks to realize a fully virtualized network environment, iconectiv is showcasing TruOps Virtual, its open source based Network Function Virtualization (NFV) solution, which enables service providers to overcome the initial challenges, complexity and cost of onboarding virtual network functions (VNF).

“At a time when 5G is increasing the demand for network investment, helping service providers better protect and boost their current revenues while smoothing their path to virtualization has become business critical,” Jacowleff explained. “We are part of a global effort identifying the path that service providers, vendors and standards bodies can take to eliminate the roadblocks so that the entire industry can move forward.”

With new information and software service launches very much in the spotlight at the show, the company will also highlight TruNumber Intel, its software as a service (SaaS) solution, which enables service providers to successfully speed delivery, maximize resources and streamline B2C engagement. It also helps to protect consumers by using authoritative calling information to authenticate legitimate business calls and identify illegal robocalls.

At Mobile World Congress Los Angeles, iconectiv can be found in Hall South at 1583MR and in Hall West at 4530A. To book a meeting or see a demonstration of the showcased solutions, contact iconectiv@globalresultspr.com.
