iconectiv Expands Executive Roster With Addition Of Tech Industry Veteran Scott Puopolo

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Nov. 10, 2016 -- iconectiv, an authoritative partner of the global communications industry, connecting more than two billion people every day, has appointed Scott A. Puopolo as Executive Vice President of the Information Solutions Business Unit.  Puopolo will have operational responsibility for Product Management, Engineering and Sales; and will strategically guide the company’s new market endeavors, including its rapidly expanding fraud and identity authentication business.

Prior to joining iconectiv, Puopolo served as vice president and global lead of the Service Provider Transformation Group at Cisco.  In that position, he worked closely with service provider senior executives to identify new market opportunities, craft new business models and drive operational effectiveness.  Prior to joining Cisco, Puopolo held several leadership positions including president of Smooth Engine/Falmouth Partners, where he was responsible for defining and implementing the firm’s strategy.  He also worked at Accenture for nearly 15 years, where he served as the lead partner for the firm’s North American Telecommunications Strategy practice.

Puopolo graduated cum laude from Harvard College, where he was a Harvard College and Charles J. Paine Scholar.  He earned his MBA in strategic management and marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
