iconectiv Announces Successful Transition of Nation’s Phone Number Identification Service for Marketers

Service provider and porting information helps businesses comply with federal TCPA regulations

Bridgewater, N.J. – March 5, 2018 – iconectiv, the next Local Number Portability Administrator for the United States, has announced the successful transition of the nation’s web-based telephone number identification and porting information service for businesses that must comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The service successfully transitioned on March 4, 2018.

This service is among the first to transition, marking a major milestone as iconectiv becomes the nation’s next administrator of the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC). The NPAC is the largest database of ported telephone numbers in the world.

This service provides businesses with information on when a telephone number changes between wireline and wireless, which is necessary for compliance with TCPA auto-dialing and pre-recorded messaging regulations.
