Responsibilities:

The Senior Telecom Sales Manager role will be focused on developing sales strategies, executing new sales opportunities by developing and maintaining customer accounts. This role will focus on selling the iconectiv portfolio od products. 

Major Duties and Functions:

  • Sales leadership/experience to develop and rapidly build qualified pipeline to grow new business and accounts leveraging the iconectiv product portfolio
  • Ability to hunt for new strategic accounts by meeting with clients and performing market research
  • Identify market trends where new and existing products can be utilized
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executives 
  • Negotiate and close contracts 
  • Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Sales planning and accurate forecasting
  • Track key account metrics
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Develop, keep current and execute Strategic Account/Territory plans
  • Interact and coordinate with other sales team members 
  • Follow corporate deal approval process
  • Travel to key customer sites are a regular and required activity

Requirements:

  • Prefer to have 3 to 5 years of telecom sales experience and account management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present effectively at all levels of an organization 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Results driven, team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work with a minimum level of supervision
  • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Salesforce
  • Travel to key customers regularly, as needed

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with digital identity and fintech solution vendors
  • Understanding of account fraud and account takeover mitigation
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
