Mobile Messaging Product Manager

We are looking for our Mobile Messaging Product Manager who, as an inspiring member of the team, will provide overall direction for the messaging and marketing portfolio strategy. This exciting role is responsible for the development of a portfolio vision, user personas, the articulation of the value proposition and the assessment of competitiveness and portfolio health of the overall messaging portfolio.

This position reports to the Sr. VP/Head of Product Management and is a member of the Product Management Leadership Team. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability to innovate, collaborate, be result oriented and a problem-solver in a fast-paced organization.

  • Work collaboratively with partners in Sales, R&D and PLM to develop marketing and messaging strategies and strategic roadmap plans.
  • Analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a portfolio vision that is differentiated and delivers outstanding value based on customer demands.
  • Clearly articulate portfolio strategies and business value to the entire organization so the intent behind new product categories is clear.
  • Engage with Sales, Customer Units and Customers to educate on portfolio vision and strategies and the value proposition of the message portfolio.
  • Identify and develop compelling ideas for the portfolio’s future development that can be articulated and rationalized with proof points to the organization.
  • Run or participate in cross-functional and cross business line strategy projects.
  • Coordinate definition, alignment, approval and tracking of the Objectives and Key Result framework that guides all Portfolio and Product Management activities.


  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS with demonstrated experience in market driven new product initiatives with business cases; plus driving to success criteria in accordance with a “gate/approval process” for providing new software products and expanded market offers.
  • 5+ years experience with either mobile marketing or messaging  applications/technologies such as WhatsApp, RCS, SMS. 
  • Expertise in SMS security threats is desirable.
  • Strong business development skills and prior success with partnerships as the go to market vehicle. 
  • Highly desired, knowledge of competitive landscape of SMS/MMS/RCS aggregator and infrastructure vendor community worldwide. Appreciation of global telecoms SMS business models.
  • Must possess excellent written communication and presentation skills and business acumen.
  • The ability to travel up to 25% both domestic and internationally or as required by this position is a must.
