iconectiv Reaches a Milestone as the Secure Number Portability Provider for Greece
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – April 21, 2017 – iconectiv, an authoritative partner of the global communications industry connecting more than two billion people every day, along with its longtime partner Nevapark Management Consulting Services, announce that more than 10 million fixed and mobile telephone numbers have been ported in Greece since 2004.
In 2003, iconectiv was selected by the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) as the mobile and fixed number portability clearinghouse in Greece after an international bid. Since then, iconectiv has been the provider of number portability for subscribers in Greece. Each year about 1 million fixed and mobile numbers are ported securely letting consumers keep their telephone number as they transfer between carriers.
