Responsibilities

The EUC Desktop Support must be effective at working with business partners who are/have experienced less than ideal circumstances during the course of their day interacting with technology. The candidate must be able to flourish in a high-stress environment and endeavor to make said environment fun, disciplined and rewarding. The candidate will be willing to be the face of the IT department and work with those inside and outside the department in a clear, convincing, and organized manner. Candidate must be able to handle each situation in a manner which is appropriate to the business partner while recognizing and catering to their varied expectations independent of the situation. Candidates must be able to take clear and concise notes of issues and present them in a manner that varied teams will be able to understand. The candidate must be able to demonstrate considerable knowledge of computer systems and techniques. Individuals will also perform technical work providing support for the operation of computer systems, operating systems, hardware configurations, and network connections. Incumbents in this position are expected to perform assignments with a high degree of independent action and may provide some instruction or assistance to entry-level technicians. Responsibilities of the position include working under direct supervision.
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Manage time efficiently, Be available during off-hours emergency.
Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs

Requirements:

May require an associate's degree or higher in computer science or computer engineering field. Requires at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
A+ PC Technician, CompTIA Certified (Preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems and Intune
Knowledge of Apple Macbook iOS MDM(JAMF)
Manage RSA Token
Manage corporate Mobile Phones with different vendors.
Experience with installing Microsoft O365 and other desktop software on Windows laptops
Experience with troubleshooting issues with Microsoft products like Outlook, Office 365 etc.
Active Directory and laptop imaging MDT experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to troubleshoot common issues on user laptops related to software upgrades, installs etc.
Additional Skills:

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Preferred linux and powershell scripting
Knowledge of Microsoft security and software updates and desktop patching and 3rd party software upgrades using various tools such as SCCM, WSUS, or Heat software
