Responsibilities:

  • Outbound business development, cold calling, social media, and setting meetings to bring in new business.
  • Developing research on target prospects and identifying right contacts to approach
  • Conducting presentations on the phone/web and in person.
  • Preparing proposals and negotiating the sale through to the legal contract stage.
  • Over-seeing the customer onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition to the account management team.
  • Communicating customer needs back to product development and helping prioritize technical and business requirements to help improve and evolve the product portfolio.

 This is an individual contributor role and calls for a strategic sales hunter who loves to open new doors and win business

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of either telecom routing, toll free RespOrg, or enterprise messaging (SMS/MMS).
  • Strong communication skills; Ability to tailor your conversations to the audience as needed.
  • Coachable. Able to own mistakes, reflect, and take feedback with maturity and a willingness to improve.
  • Detail oriented and methodical.  Able to follow processes to success, but not afraid to suggest changes to evolve and improve those processes.
  • Experience with CRMs (*Salesforce*, Zoho, etc.); and sales productivity tools.
  • Works collaboratively. Possesses high energy, with the ability to build rapport and trust internally and externally.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethical standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of business experience.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% within the U.S.

 Additional Skills:

  • Background is SaaS based sales, or direct experience with CPaaS, UCaaS providers;
  • Ability to manage a pipeline and leverage Salesforce CRM with proficiency
  • Track record of closing new business and achieving personal sales quotas
