Data with Authority

The Data that Drives the Industry

Telecom Routing Administration (TRA) provides essential data products and services for the completion of Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) calls in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). We have been the industry-recognized source of routing and rating information products since 1984.

  • Helps service providers improve network planning, decrease operational costs, and protect against revenue loss
  • Provides accurate and timely data in convenient, standard formats
  • Easily integrates into your specific application(s)
  • Offers superior technical support

The correct routing of calls and messages, as well as accurate rating and billing, depends on access to reliable data. The source for reliable data is TRA.

Two other resources available are International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) codes and SS7 Point Codes

The IMSI is a unique, 15-digit international identifier, which is included in a mobile device and allows for roaming on mobile service provider networks.  SS7 point codes are unique addresses that identify individual network elements for a Signaling Point used in Message Transfer Part (MTP) to identify the destination of a message signal unit (MSU).
